empowered through every stage

Prenatal

Overview

Pilates and resistance training during pregnancy offer mindful support for body and mind. Movement helps maintain strength, posture, and inner balance as the body changes hormonally and physically.

Benefits in later pregnancy

In the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, both approaches help by strengthening deep muscles, supporting the pelvic floor, and easing back tension. Equipment-based Pilates (Reformer, Tower, Chair/Baby Chair, Ped-o-Pull) gently strengthens, stretches, and creates space. Resistance training, when thoughtfully programmed, builds safe, functional strength, improves posture, and supports joint stability. With careful exercise selection, progressive loading, and attention to form, these practices can ease common pregnancy discomfort and support a smoother recovery after birth.

Approach

I tailor every session to your individual changes, needs, and comfort level. Exercises are adapted to fit your stage, fitness history, and goals. I monitor intensity, ensure proper form, and progress gradually to support safety and confidence throughout pregnancy.

Personal Training
I offer personal training during pregnancy to address the individual changes in your body. Especially during this time, your body needs extra attention—which is why the exercises should be carefully tailored and adapted to your needs.
